Traveling by cruise ship has allowed us to visit many more places than we could have possibly visited on land.  As it turns out, some of these places have far exceeded our expectations and we have enjoyed them so much that we have returned one or more times.  At the same time, there have been some places we found far less enjoyable than we imagined we would.   By visiting them by cruise ship, we invested far less time and money had we seen them as part of a land travel trip.  With forty or more cruise lines that cater to the North American Market, plus the equivalent of a few hundred cruise ships sailing the high seas, there is literally something for everyone when it  comes to cruising.

The diversity of itineraries is extraordinary with itineraries representing all seven continents of the world.  Longer itineraries allows for sailing of one or more of the continents.  Voyages such as a World Cruise allows seven continents to be visited on one single voyage encompassing several months.  With more choices available than ever before we believe to get the most out of each cruise is  the research that goes into selecting a cruise line, cruise ship, and itinerary.
